Programs for the African American and Latino Communities

The Foundation sponsors a seminars in the African American community, partnering with local clergy and church leadership. Foundation committee members and church leaders plan together and present programs on depression.

On September 23 The Foundation sponsored a program on Depression in the African American Community called "Feeling the Blues". You can read presentations by Sylvia Lackey of the Family Institute of Northwestern University, Rosetta Sullivan, a young lady who told her story and Dr. Reginald Richardson.

The Foundation sponsored a seminar titled "The Art of Feeling Well - Depression in the Latino Community" on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Evanston, IL. Below are pictures taken at the event:
